This is my second post. Exciting times.

As a couple of weeks have passed now, I want to collect all the things I want to see and do while I’m here in a bucket list (so I don’t forget). America is big, life is short so here it goes (in no particular order):

Places I want to see

  • Spend a weekend in Nashville and go to a country concert
  • Drive up to Vermont to see the fall foliage and have Ben & Jerry Ice Cream (a lot of it, we’re in America, people)
  • Eat a beignet in the French Quarter of New Orleans
  • Have a BBQ in Austin (sense the food theme here?)
  • Drive the Pacific Coast Highway from Southern California to San Francisco
  • Check out San Francisco and cross over the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Check out LA, go to Venice Beach and be cool
  • See the Grand Canyon
  • Hike on parts of the Pacific Crest Trail
  • Hug a tree in the Redwood National Park

Things I want to do

  • Improve my English (boring, I know. It’s the truth though)
  • Take up a class at Harvard (out of curiosity, would that work? I’ll check it out and will let you know. Also, I’m intrigued to get to know people who go to school there. Are they aliens? Are they real? I’ll find out for you)
  • Find a nice yoga studio to go to
  • Go to a YWA class in Austin, that would be way cooler
  • Drive (more) or just drive actually (ICYMI I HATE driving, which is kind of a problem around here. So this will be a major challenge for me. I’ll let you know how it goes..if I survive)
  • Take up a pottery course
  • Take up a flower design course
  • Find the best doughnuts ever
  • Find the best cocktail ever
  • Find the best restaurant ever
  • Find the best bakery and café ever
  • Go to a Baseball Game
  • Go to a Basketball Game

Celebs it would be cool to bump into (and take a selfie with)

  • Adriene (from Yoga with Adriene, in case you missed it until now)
  • Michelle Obama (because she’s cool)
  • Taylor Swift (wanna be part of your squad girl)

I hereby promise that I will let you know in 2 years how things went with my bucket list, so stick around if you don’t want to miss this might happen..
or not.

Also, if you have any tips or suggestions on what to do or where to go, let me know in the comments below, thank you! #byeee

    Hi Sandy & Hola Sandrita
WOW, what a fantastic & ambitious “to do” list you have set yourself, but, hey, in two years ..yes you can 🙂 ..but do go step by step, it is more of a long run you and Philipp start, pace yourselves, you can’t do it all by next Tuesday!
Enjoy life in the US to the full.
    Cheers & kindest regards
    Your father
